Our Services

Sectional Felling
Carefully dismantling a tree in small sections when access is restricted or when there are obstacles to be avoided underneath the crown. The operation is usually undertaken with heavy-duty rigging, lowering ropes & skilled branch removal techniques.

Felling
Felling a tree under controlled conditions by making a series of strategic cuts at the base of the trunk.

Crane Assisted Tree Removal
We specialise in tree removal with the assistance of a mobile crane.
Here are some advantages to using a crane:
- No damage to adjacent buildings or landscape
- Cost effective. It's often cheaper than conventional tree removal techniques
- Safe removal of trees where access is restricted
- Faster than conventional techniques thus providing a commercial advantage
- Reduced fatigue (The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recognise fatigue as a contributing factor in the causes of some accidents in tree work)

Crown Reductions
The selective removal of branches and stems to reduce the height and/or spread of a tree. This type of pruning should be done when there is a need to minimise risk of failure of a tree, or reduce interference onto nearby buildings or other structures.

Crown Thinning
Removing branches from within the tree crown to make the canopy less dense, resulting in reduced wind resistance and increased light.

Crown Lifting
Removing the lower branches to increase the distance between ground level and the crown of the tree.

Dead Wood Removal
Removing dead, dying or dangerous branches to ensure a safe, healthy and more aesthetically pleasing crown.

Pollarding
The method of encouraging lateral branches by cutting off a tree stem or minor branches two or three metres above ground level. The tree is then allowed to regrow after the initial cutting, but once begun, pollarding requires regular maintenance.

Cable Bracing
Bracing is a term used to describe the installation of cables, ropes and/or belts to reduce the probability of failure of one or more parts of the tree structure due to weakened elements under excessive movement.

Site Clearance & Land Clearance
Using our specialist equipment our qualified and experienced staff can clear sites ready for development or re-planting.

Stump Removal
Using a stump grinding machine to cut away the protruding stump until at least 6 inches below the surface.
